This book turned my stomach. I don't necessarily have a problem with noncon fantasy, but in the case of this series (I also read about half of the second story) the rape is all of innocent bystanders. It's prettied up for the "pure" heroine, who gets chased/rescued by protective rapists who save her from the really bad rapists, but the slutty women just get what's coming to them. The rapes are also written with an emphasis on the men getting off. To me, all this makes it porn, not erotica. It's also not very well written, skipping around from action to action with very little detail to flesh out the story. An editor is credited, but I don't see much evidence of it.
