It Came Upon a Midnight Clear (Tall, Dark & Dangerous, Book 6)

It Came Upon a Midnight Clear (Tall, Dark & Dangerous, Book 6) - Suzanne Brockmann Now I know why I hoard a few unread books by my favorite authors. I didn't love this like some Brockmann, but when you're having a reading slump, a reliable author is a big help. This is one of my least favorite tropes, the resistant hero who keeps pushing the heroine away. It works okay here because Crash is so messed up and detaches from his emotions about everything; it's hard for him to even feel his positive ones. There's a good redemption/revelation at the end, so the HEA seems plausible.
