I can see what people like about this one, because the hero has an unexpectedly vulnerable side. But my enjoyment of the usual Palmer mean hero/innocent heroine formula was severely hampered by how incredibly bitchy and smug Libby was. (Along with pretty much every other "good" character in the book.) I have no clue what Jordan saw in her, and she almost had me rooting for the Evil Other Woman. Additionally, the plot was almost dreamlike in its lack of coherence.
