Her Best Friend

Her Best Friend - Sarah Mayberry I seem to be the only romance reader in the world who doesn’t much care for “friends-to-lovers” stories, and Her Best Friend has all the elements that I usually don’t like in them. It's a credit to the intelligent writing that I still enjoyed it. Yeah, there's a lot of unrequited longing and anguishing over whether they'll ruin their friendship if they give in to their feelings, but it's not driven into the ground, making me want to slap people silly. The main characters are likable and believable and there are some chuckles along the way.
