Mrs. McGinty's Dead - Agatha Christie It's been a while since I've read Christie and I'd forgotten how funny she can be. This mystery features her alter-ego, wacky mystery-writer Ariadne Oliver, whose observations on being a famous writer are always good for a laugh. Hercule Poirot's dry outlook on life also often made me chuckle, as did the great cast of oddball supporting characters. The complicated murder mystery is also excellent, as usual.
