Hmm, big-city career woman returns to small home town and runs afoul of hot local law enforcement… now where have I run into that plot before? Oh right, every third contemporary romance I’ve ever read. This was well-written, but didn’t rise above its stale premise otherwise. The primary relationship is all about two semi-enemies having sex and there just wasn't any reason for me to be interested in them constantly going at it. I skimmed over a lot of nookie. The secondary love story was interesting, but brief.
