The dnf rating is more about my present inability to focus than the actual book, I think. I skimmed both stories and liked the first one enough to reskim it the next day. It's a fairly standard romance plot--the bare bones are essentially Faro's Daughter in a modern setting--but enjoyable in a standard way. The second story I couldn't get into at all.
