Deception

The Deception - Joan Wolf Not as good as I expect from Wolf. The implausibility at the beginning (the hero and heroine, believed to be brother and sister, are given a single room at an inn?) was jarring; if a romance is going to have a more formal, traditional Regency feel, it needs to stay within the bounds of believability. But mainly, it was just kind of blah. No real conflict between the characters, a bunch of episodic plotlines that don't really add to the story. I confess, I skimmed a fair bit.
